Manilak Resort of Curtis, MI offers an experience that includes everything that makes the Upper Peninsula unique — water, fishing, forests, hunting, recreation, and attractions.  Big Manistique Lake is located in both Luce County and Mackinac County.  It is also known as "Manistique Lake".  This beautiful world class fishing hot spot is part of the Upper Peninsula's Manistique Lake Complex.  Being the largest of this grouping of lakes, it encompasses a total of 10,130 acres of surface area.  There are two creeks that run into the Big Manistique Lake and those are Portage Creek and Helmer Creek.  Our resort is only 2 miles north of Curtis, MI and just off county road H-33.  We are also just 20 minutes away from Newberry, MI along with many great attractions like the famous Upper and Lower Tahquamenon Falls.
